One of my favourite designers—Arnaud Mercier, has redesigned, and overhauled his studio website: AREA 17. I can clearly recall his early design work being some of the very first examples that showed me what was visually possible on the web, all the way back in 2000/2001. He was doing stuff with Flash 4 that still impresses me to this day. Some of you veteran designers will remember him as “Elixirstudio”. I still love this French designers work—and this new Area 17 iteration is another great example of restraint, balance, beauty, and taste. 5 stars.
