You may have noticed that we are running ads on this site now. For a few years we have toyed with the idea of having ads here, but there was never any network that really peaked our interest. Most of the ad networks are elitist and serve up ads that would be of little relevance to our audience. I recently stumbled upon the Yoggrt Ad Network and was impressed as to their friendliness and openness. They immediately accepted us into their network and we are now serving up design/development friendly ads. A big thanks to Yoggrt!

This is the site for Lukas Podolski—of German football fame. This site is just the way I like it. Fullscreen images, great use of type and über simple navigation. More designers and developers should learn that less is indeed more and that boiling the content down is a good thing. We obviously love the Futura goodness on this one.

The NHL has some great ads running on tv. Definitely the type of creative I would push for if I was tasked to come up with some spots.
