A good friend of ours brought our attention to the latest issue of .net magazine. Featured in the issue is some work we created for Grammy Award winning producer Ben Wisch.

The site featured is the mobile companion site to his desktop version. The task was to create a simple one page site that gave people quick access to all his contact information and delivered both his reel and film effortlessly. It’s good to see that others agree with our choice to keep it simple and appropriate.

I found myself asking myself: is there something wrong with the iPhone companion site we developed for The Struggle and the Progress? It was passed-over multiple times, on several iPhone showcase sites—for some rather dodgy iPhone work. I’ll be diplomatic, and leave it at “dodgy”. Am I bitter? Not at all. Confused? Slightly.

We are pretty proud of it.

Until we have our heads comfortably wrapped-around the foggy world of the mobile design experience, we have launched a basic mobile page for the Analogue web presence. From what we have learned so far, the process of detecting mobile device browsers should be much more straightforward. So, for now, we offer: m.analogue.ca

In the coming weeks, Analogue will be presenting the iPhone companion site to the Struggle and the Progress. Visitors will be able to navigate through each track, preview + buy via iTunes, and check the official Twitter feed.
